New for 2015, Super Stroke is sponsoring a season-long putting contest, in which competitors will record the number of putts they have for a round in an Assistants' Association tournament. Stats will be kept and an "Average Number of Putts Per Round" for each individual will be calculated. Stats will be updated after each event and posted here. Below are several stipulations to the contest:
To be eligible for prize money, you must compete in a minimum of five (5) Assistants' Association events.
-2 of the 5 events must be individual stroke play.
-The CPGA Assistant Championship will count as an eligible individual stroke play event.
-The low 5 putting rounds will be used if you played in more than 5.
Team events do count towards the contest
-Team will record number of putts from the player's score used on each hole.
-The total team putts for the tournament will be added to each partner's season stats.
The ball must be on the putting surface to count as a putt. Shots played from the fringe or fairway do not count as putts.
Putting strokes must be accurately recorded on scorecard, signed for and attested. Any disqualifications or no-cards will eliminate putting scores from counting towards the contest.
