ENTRY DEADLINE:
Non-PGA Tour Members:  Friday, August 3 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour Members:  Friday, August 10 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

Online registration is available on the Carolinas PGA Section’s website at http://www.Carolinas.PGA.com.  It is the applicants’ responsibility that this application is received by the Carolinas PGA Section by the entry deadline.

Pre-Qualifying for Other Professionals and Amateurs $200.00
Successful Pre-Qualifiers, an additional  $200.00 
2007 Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour members  $100.00
2007 PGA Tour members     $  0.00

Successful qualifiers will have their entry fee posted towards the tournament proper.  Entry fee includes green fee and range usage on the competition day(s).  Entry fee must accompany application and be payable in cash, cashier’s check, money order, traveler’s check, debit card, or credit card.  Personal checks will only be accepted from members of the PGA of America, the PGA Tour, or the Nationwide Tour. The additional $200 entry fee for successful pre-qualifiers (50 and ties) must be paid prior to the player’s starting time in the Monday Event Qualifying.

ELIGIBILITY:
Professionals and amateurs with a handicap index when applied to the qualifying course slope will generate a handicap of two (2) or less.  The Carolinas PGA Section reserves the right to verify the handicap index of amateurs and to refuse anyone not meeting the requirements.

FORMAT:
Pre-Qualifying will be played in an 18-hole stroke play competition.  All professionals and amateurs who are not 2007 PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, or fully-exempt Champions Tour members must pre-qualify, and the successful 50 and ties will advance into the Monday Event Qualifying competition.  The Monday Event Qualifying will be an 18-hole stroke play with the low 4 qualifiers advancing to the 2007 PGA Tour Wyndham Championship.  If there is a tie for the last qualifying spot, a playoff will commence immediately.

STARTING TIMES:
Pre-Qualifying starting times will be available by Monday, August 6 and Event Qualifying starting times will be available Saturday, August 11 after 12:00 p.m. EDT on the Carolinas PGA Section Website at http://www.Carolinas.PGA.com, at the PGA Tour tournament office, or at Pinewood Country Club.

PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Practice rounds must be arranged the with host facility.  Practice round fees and times are at the discretion of the host facility.

WITHDRAWALS:
Applicants must withdraw prior to the entry deadline to be eligible for an entry fee refund.  Contestants who withdraw during the round may be subject to disciplinary action.

RULES OF GOLF:
Play shall be governed in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the United States Golf Association, as modified by the PGA Tour 2007 Local Rules and Conditions of Competition card and supplemented by the Notice to Competitors.  Questions or disputes shall be settled by the on-site Rules Committee appointed by the PGA Tour, whose decision shall be final.

SPIKE POLICY:
The use of traditional metal spikes is permitted during the Competition.  Soft spikes may be required during practice rounds at the discretion of the host facilities.

TRANSPORTATION:
Pre-Qualifying:  Contestants may use golf carts furnished by the host facility or use their own caddie.  Players may not carry their own bags.  Only two (2) carts per group will be allowed.

Event Qualifying:  Players and caddies shall walk at all times during qualifying rounds, except when permitted to ride by the Rules Committee.  Players are not required to have a caddie.  They may carry their clubs or use a manual or motorized pull cart.

Anyone seeking a golf cart due to a disability defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) should contact the PGA TOUR Competition Department at (904) 285-3700 to obtain information on procedures for submitting such requests.  All such requests and required information must be submitted to the PGA TOUR no less than 30 days prior to the competition.  Please note that requests due to temporary injuries or impairments that do not qualify as a “disability” under the ADA will not be granted.

APPEARANCE:
While on host facility property during qualifying rounds, players and caddies shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming.  Blue jeans, shorts, T-shirts, or shirts without collars shall not be worn.

CONDUCT:
While on host facility property during qualifying rounds, players and caddies shall conduct themselves in a professional manner.  The Carolinas PGA Section reserves the right to remove a player from the qualifying competition for non-competitiveness, conduct unbecoming a professional by the player, or conduct unbecoming a professional by the player’s caddie.
